Nokia’s Ovi Store Tops 6 Million Daily Downloads

The momentum of Nokia’s Ovi Store continues to be strong. Every day more than 300,000 new Nokia accounts are created, and every day consumers worldwide download some 6 million mobile apps and content.


Additionally, as we recently reported, Ovi Store has grown nearly eight times in one year, with more than 48,000 apps now available. Nearly 1,000 new apps are added every week, too.


As of last May, more than 170 developers had each exceeded 1 million downloads on Ovi Store. Among these developers, 15 companies had 10 million to 20 million downloads; five companies had 20 million to 30 million; and one company, Offscreen Tec… .. .

Nokia N9 Is Proved To Be World’s Fastest Camera Smarthone With Shortest Startup And Latency Time

Nokia’s Social App v1.3 Graduates Out Of Beta Labs & Is Available For Download From Ovi Store

The latest version of Nokia’s Social application for Symbian^3 devices has been available in public beta for awhile now so it is no surprise that app is finally ready for prime time. So those of you who already own some Symbian^3 powered device (Nokia N8, C7, E7 etc) or are about to get one, would be happy to know that Nokia that latest version of Social app is no available for download from Ovi Store.


Update will be also available via Nokia Software Updater tool for Nokia N8, C6-01, C7, and E7 when Symbian Anna is released for those devices. This is not final version and new exciting feature enhancements coming soon including Faceb… .. .
